Edited to add: I was only inpatient for a couple of days at the start of my Care here and from then on, all care was outpatient. I was assigned to one doctor the rest of my time there and him and his assistants are virtually the only ones I can speak for. I was a patient there for about 2 years, starting about 6 years ago and he is no longer working at this hospital. Everyone was always really kind to me and I was always given the care I needed. My doctor was great and I didn't have much trouble getting regular, consistent appointments. This place quite literally saved my life.

i find it extremely unnerving that they forcibly medicate patients illegally and the nurses have the BIGGEST attitude when you state your rights. And they even get angry with you if you educate others on their rights to refuse. Also, this facility is not legally suppose to be housing people for multiple months at a time because they do not offer nor can get the services to sustain the mental and physical well being of all patients. Its basically just a recovery place for addicts. But yet, they have people who have been there for years and lack proper social skills, comprehensive abilities and even functioning capabilities such as: using a cell phone, writing, reading, education in any mannerism. The volunteers basically come in and study the mentally ill in their most broken moments which does not help they merely analyze and learn about us like animals in a cage as well as the psychological evaluations by mainly the doctors are extremely harmful to the patients recovery care and journey. Through my experiences here i have no renounced all care from any emergency or american medical facility due to the abusive nature of this facility. If you take notes, most of the nurses are on their phones, not working. The bosses merely walk through to ensure everyones sedated. if i were a lawyer i'd have glowing eyes over this place. PLUS, it's extremely uncanny that there is a morgue next door next to a place that has a very dark history from what the locals say of giving the "nurse's dose" which is an extra dose of sedatable medication used to innoculate the patient to only benefit the nurse's work comprehensive skills. I have been a victim of such medical malpractice and im pretty sure if this place was investigated they'd be shut down. Also, it's very difficult to get help from this facility unless you have insurance and when you finally have insurance they try to keep you for months at a time illegally stating that you are all these horrible things, as said, in the doctors notes that aren't even remotely relateable to reality. People who are deemed mentally "ill" are hurt people. They need healing. Not pills or needles or a underskilled nurse whose got no patience. Do better.

Went here a few years ago and they wouldn’t even let me in. I was very suicidal and was making that clear. I was crying and screaming for help and no one cared. They asked for my name and date of birth and I was told I couldn’t be helped and that I needed to leave the property. If anyone succeeds in this place it’s picked and chosen. You don’t get treated fairly here. Might as well just go to jail and talk to the mental health people in there.

I dont know exactly but would call or go into mental health and ask
Typical hospital food. If you're in a mandatory hold they will account for food allergies
Bring her in they will treat her right !
They don't communicate...they also release sick people that can't get home on their own out without calls for transportation...not really a safe facility.
