DO NOT come to this hotel (if) you're black (such as myself.) Horrible experience. I ((own)) a house in TN, & one here in Indiana but in another than here, plus many vehicles, & my OWN personal barber shop in TN. But the 1st thing this owner did at the front desk was accuse me of being a weed smoker (that I'm not) because I "looked" that way to him and his wife (whatever way that is) 🤦🏽, before the truth of who I am actually came out with their apology. And then they patrolled the property like something was wrong (upon me and my fiancé s arrival lastnight.) They even had the nerve to let us know that they had to literally "check" our room this morning BEFORE we could rent it (again) for today (with my HARD EARNED money.) We're still here, but definitely leaving tomorrow and will NEVER be back. The owner guy has been really trying to apologize after he saw exactly who I was. And again, I do NOT recommend THIS HOTEL for anyone (of dark complexion.) And from my experience, all the "non-colored's" have an amazing time here though. You probably wont even have to have your room searched or even be asked upon arrival if you smoke weed. I'm 41 years old, my fiancé is 40 year-old pastor's daughter, I have children and I even have a 22 year old son in college. Im done talking but I will never be back here. Oh yeah, big parking lot though!

Positive: Location, friendliness of staff, comfort, clean. No frills motel, no breakfast, but there was coffee in the lobby. When you want a quick stop overnight, this is the place. Yes, I would stay here again. Negative: Everything was good.

Older property which is in great condition. Friendly locally owned well lit with top quality beds, new quiet air condition/heater units properly sized. Again CLEAN and well maintained. You may not remember how easy it was to open a door with a metal key but it beats card keys that are fickle.
