I recorded at a variety of studios in eastern Ohio and western PA in my 20s. Now I'm in my 50s and decided to record more music. You would think a 30 year hiatus would pose a problem, but not with Colin and JSR studios. Colin was extremely patient and worked with me, even providing studio musicians where needed. He gave just the right amout of advice, while still allowing me the total freedom to drive my music project. His engineering and technical skills are unmatched. Nothing I recorded in my 20's was even close to JSR quality. If you want it recorded right, do yourself a favor and at least talk to Colin at JSR.

The band I'm in, Radio Static, recently recorded a 3 song demo at JSR Studios, and it was undoubtably the best studio experience we've ever had. We were working with Colin, the head engineer, for that session. His knowledge and personality made the technical and personal aspect of recording the smoothest it could possibly be (we would highly recommend working with him if you can). The studio itself has everything you need to create an amazing end result, and as a bonus, it's very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. 10/10, 5 stars, 3 thumbs up, A+
