This is the best church! I love my pastor. I love my church family. I love worshipping with classic hymns. I love learning from the Bible. I love serving. I love telling people in our community about Jesus. If you're looking for a church home, looking to grow in your relationship with Christ, looking for truth and understanding of God's word, and who God is, then come to Anchor Baptist Church. I'm so thankful that I came here and I wish I would have known to come here sooner.

Predatory people. Harassed my family for years. Our first encounter with them was when they showed up and in front of my children began asking questions about where we are spending eternity and heaven/hell. I am a survivor of religious trauma and I asked them to leave and not come back. They came back. We posted signs. They came back. They started leaving religious papers and driving a bus around the neighborhood. I called their office and left messages and spoke to people there and asked them to stop coming to my address. They didn’t. Even LDS/JWs have DoNotCall lists but these people do not have boundaries. Eventually I had a lawyer send a letter to them threatening to take legal action and they stopped for awhile but after one year resumed their harassment. I had recently started going back to a church and trying to get back to where I was in my faith but these people and their harassment and disregard for consent made me not even want to go to any church at all. If this is what Christians are today I am steering clear. They are Independent Baptist which means they aren’t accountable to a denomination but rather whatever the leadership says. Google “Fundamentalist Christians” and “Independent Baptist church” and “Quiverfull” to get an idea of what these people are about. When I moved away they jammed more papers in my door as a parting shot. They have no respect for the word No and it is evident in all the scandals you will read about this denomination.
