No matter what they tell you, what you do or how clean you are, you will be screwed out of your security deposit. Remember this warning because it will happen to you. I have pics also, your company is corrupt, your apts are nasty and dirty and you take advantage of the unfortunate during a pandemic no less. Your lies don't sway my answer. It was a sublease and not cleaned to begin with and we were told by Tammy more than once we were very clean tenants. Lies, lies and more lies. I just hope the judge puts an end to your reign and guess who won in court! Haha! We won and the slumlords still didn't pay us! What's that tell you? The apts are also bug infested. Gross and disgusting place!

Lake glen is a terrble, out dated place to live. The owner is terrible.Hi Jake, I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay at Lake Glen Apartments. Some of the apartments are not updated and that is reflected in a lower rent to our tenants. Your apartment was not updated and you paid a lower rent amount which was agreed in the lease by both parties. I do think it is good that you are no longer a tenant at the complex as there was constant problems coming from your apartment such as the cops being called due to fighting and damaging the apartment. it was not a good fit as Lake Glen is a quiet and safe community that does not tolerate damage and fighting. The condition you left the apartment in when you moved out was very poor as you had damaged many items in the apartment. I wish you the best going forward and hope you are healthy and happy.

I would not recommend this place to anybody. Not only do they discriminate against tenants (based on hearsay in the community) they run you through the cleaners for every penny on the security deposit. If you ask questions to the manager …Hi David, I am sorry you did not enjoy your time at Lake Glen Apartments. I would like to address some of your comments in your review as they are inaccurate. Here are some facts. Your tenancy started on December 1st 2019 and ended on November 30th 2020. During that time you wanted to sublet your apartment, which we allowed and that started on August 1st 2020. Tammy is not related to the building owners, although we treat all of our employees like family so your comments about the complex being a family affair are true. We think treating employees like family builds a positive work environment not only for our employees but also for our tenants. Tammy does a great job managing the complex and I have received numerous compliments on what a great job she does and what a great neighborhood she has helped create. She is an invaluable member of the team. We take our tenants safety and wellbeing as a top priority, which is why we denied some of your sublet applicants. They were not up to our standards and could have posed a risk, which is unacceptable. Yes, I did take over the sublet process when you started sending poor applicants to her and asking her to do all the sublet work for you. You were told when you asked about finding a sublettor that there would be an application process and we will not just approve anybody, because we want to keep the complex a great community. Regarding the comment about getting money out of you, I believe that is in regards to keeping some of your security deposit. David, I sent you the move out procedure that follows New York State security deposit laws. This procedure said you had the right to ask for a move out inspection prior to your lease end date. You never asked for that so we were forced to cure the damages that you left in the apartment. The damages included repainting walls back to their original color that you had painted and some cleaning. We did not profit from retaining some of your security deposit, those funds simply were used to cure the damages from your tenancy. If you would have asked for a move out inspection we would have told you that these items needed to be cured and you would have had the ability to fix them prior to you lease end date. You ignored the move out procedure so not receiving your full security deposit back with interest, is only your fault, there is nobody else to blame.
