I can't believe I forgot to leave Mike a review! I had such a killer time with Him, Dave, and Jack. These treks are certainly not for the faint of heart! What was supposed to be a couple hours turned into an all day trip, lots of walking, and even time out on the boat! It is strenuous, no doubt, but it is authentic as hell! My boyfriend had never experienced any type of prospecting and it was so enjoyable to have some genuine prospectors showing us around. Heavily reccomend scheduling an outing with Mike, but only if you're a tough cookie!

The Creeks are dry this time of year except for Angels Creek which is not the best gold panning we have water tanks down at our claim on the Six Mile Creek, other than that you'll probably have to wait for it to rain unless you go to one of the large rivers like Stanislaus got to watch out for whose claim you're on, that again first rain usually leave enough water in the Creeks to pan. Let me know if you have any more questions thank you! Dave It's difficult to get a good plane there's many claims for sale be very careful some claims are for sale that really don't exist if you don't live in the area to go and inspect it yourself I'd make sure the paperwork is legit. claims on private property or ones that don't exist are always for sale on eBay be careful !
