Whoever is the first person who answer my call today September 12,2022 at 2:40 pm. That's not how you supposed to talk to a patient. You are absolutely very RUDE. I am calling to set an appointment for a doctor and supposed to ask for your help because no nurse answer my call when they forward me to them. That's not how you treat a patient...!!!!! Your ugly and I am so ๐ก๐๐ก
Sweet Kisses (sweet kisses)

Womanโs Hospital should be ashamed. Just a heads up on their new awful guest policy. NO ONE between the ages of 3-18 is allowed inside the hospital, unless they are a child of a patient. No exceptions. So my 2 children and I went to sit quietly in the lobby to wait for my wife who went to visit our newborn nephew. WE WERE THEN TOLD WE ACTUALLY HAD TO LEAVE THE LOBBY, AND THEY POINTED US TO THE DOOR. KIDS ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE BUILDING. I can understand not allowing them in the guest room, but they are not allowed anywhere inside the hospitalโฆ not the gift shop, restroom, lobby, or anywhere else.

Came to have my baby. Tested positive for COVID. First and foremost, my doctor, Samantha Prats, is amazing. However, when I found out I tested positive for COVID, my husband was told to leave and go take a COVID test from CVS by a nurse. My mom was already here and was told she could stay as long as she wasnโt having symptoms. Then one of the nurses came back and changed her mind and told her she needed to leave. Just very unprofessional in my opinion. I couldnโt have my mom there while I was giving birth. And if my husband tested positive, they would have told him to leave too, which is insane bc he is the father of my child and who wants to give birth alone? Then I was told I could just stop my induction and come back in 5 days. Even though I was 2 days past my due date. Like Iโm sorry, what? Thatโs a conversation my OB should be having with me, not some nurse. Very disappointing experience. My birth was great though as I had a room full of very caring, very professional staff. Love this hospital but the COVID rules are a bit excessive and bad experience with a couple nurses.

I have no knowledge of the personnel at the hospital
I think you should probably go to the Woman's Hospital website and go to the "contact us" section to have this question answered. More than likely they can remove an IUD but the price will depend on your insurance. Some hospitals do charge more for certain procedures. If you want to price around, try Googling "price of removing IUD" or "where to get IUD removed." Hospitals that put them in should be able to remove them. Planned Parenthood might be able to do it, but I'm not sure. You can always call multiple hospitals to compare prices or call the Woman's Hospital to ask a person in billing for the price.
Yeah...they operate and you end up septic. So you definitely will lose a lot of weight while fighting a full blown infection of the blood that travels to each organ. They have excellent sterile procedures and protocols, just ask administration. They are useless. Nurses are "rough" (according to sources, I did not witness this because I was not permitted to witness the birth of my daughter) with a helpless newborn so I can imagine the excellent care that would be provided to an adult.
Not sure, mainly on staff are OB-Gyn. They will refer you.
Doesn't matter how many...drive a few extra miles to Oschner to be safe.
Yes they have classes for just about anything! I love their staff! They genuinely care about you and your baby! ๐
