We needed help from some very aggressive women forcing shots on my brother on Bourbon St. I found an officer leaning on his car, I told him the quick run down of the situation, he immediately told me I need to have some common sense? I was really thrown back by this since it wasn't me and it was my brother needing help. I said, "Sir, can you please just help us because she's following us and being aggressive." He rudely rolled his eyes so slowly in front of my face and was really annoyed by asked me to take him to then. He approached and the girls walked off but the officer continued to put as all down about common sense and arguing about us being forced to do something. He eventually told my husband to leave because those girls have boyfriends with guns... This was the weirdest interaction. We did not feel she and left only being there for 10 mins being in an area we were excited to visit. Makes me worry about people's safety down here since the police doesn't seem to care about helping people that are asking for help.

Worst experience ever. Was assaulted and robbed of almost $50,000 in items. The detectives were very unhelpful, rude and made us feel like we did something wrong. Very upset and distraught. Unreal

Police locking citizens and journalists out of stations. That is unacceptable and truly unsafe for all citizens. District 8 should really be reviewed.
