Some units are nice, a few are a bit shabby but you are paying a premium for the location, not the rooms. There was a lot of confusion between what the website implies vs. what the managers will tell you. For instance, the website allowed me to book for two nights but management kept trying to charge me for three. We eventually got it sorted after a few phone calls and finally in person. Management is friendly but it is a small family business and they sometimes struggle. Also, you must provide your own linens although some correspondence implies they have sheets (they do not). There are coffee makers but you must bring your own filters. Try to get a unit facing the lake if you can. Unit 6 was nice. Overall it was a good experience but make sure you communicate with management to clear up any confusions.

It was a very nice view of the lake off of our deck. The stay was comfortable and the pool was fantastic with how hot it was. If you need a break from how crazy life has been, I very much recommend a stay here for the weekend.

Really cool place, I didn't even know existed !!! Very peaceful relaxing. It's very dated, kinda like going back in time. It's a work in progress.. So much better than the staying in the city. They have hot tubs and pools. Not mention It's right on Raccoon lake. You can bring your boat or rent one there !! Fishing is great.

The place has a lot of potential, but needs maintenance. The staff was really very friendly and helpful. The pictures online are inaccurate- we stayed in cabin 1, part of the larger #11- and website showed two queen beds in the bedroom. We found there was only one bed, but we were able to make do with the sleeper sofa. The lake view is exceptional from this area of the lodge and the pool is so close that you can watch the kids from the outside deck- literally a few feet away.
