Large park with two playgrounds, sanitary facilities and plenty of space for walking. Bogue Falaya is clean, large, well maintained and just a lovely place in Covington to unwind. The toilets are clean, the paths are well maintained and the trees are big and old. People like to come here.

The larger playground does not have ramps and may have levels that would be hard to navigate. There's an adjacent playground that is all one level. The park itself has paved trails, an accessible dock on the river, and white sand in most areas where grass would be.
Yes, it's open, no masks required.
So here's the thing you can go to the park in any of their public day use areas and have the party but if a pavilion is in use or has been previously reserved then they get first use. Or you can reserve it on reserve America and guarantee that it will be available for your use all day but to be honest this time of year I have never had an issue finding an open pavilion
Yes it is. A wonderful park right in the downtown area hidden away worth the time to go see.
Nooooo! Unless you like the unknown bayou!! Seriously, No doubt
I wouldn't take that chance of getting into the water. It's what you CAN'T see 😏
No they don't have an actual website. They are on the city and parks and rec sites.
No hiking trails there. No that big. But beautiful.
It is a beautiful park..perfect for a child's birthday party
Little kids and bigger kids love the extensive playset. There are picnic tables and beautiful trees. If you are a nature lover, you will love Bogue Falaya.
I've done it. Most times of the year you can find a good launch spot. It is a bit of a walk from parking to the river so I have some wheels to pull my rig. Just a thought.
