Nostalgia is quite the drug: I am originally from Sacramento, and have many fond memories of Straw Hat Pizza. It had been a long, long time since I have returned home to Sac-town. So I would not miss out on a chance to try what used to be my favorite pizza. Either I did not have taste buds as a child, I don't remember the quality, or Straw Hat Pizza has changed their quality/style. It just wasn't quite the same. The crust was cracker-like, more akin to a fancier Totinos, the twists were OK but had a strange after-taste. The price was reasonable. But other than that, my childhood memories have been tainted...

This place was just like I remembered it. Same furniture and same yummy pizza. We had salid and Pizzas it was amazing!!! We will be back.
