A depressing and overall dirty feeling place to study. Don’t bother with the restrooms. Guarantee 75% of the tables will have gum stuck underneath them. Really sad that LSU can’t give its students a nice updated place to utilize. Lacks in every category compared to other public university libraries. If you are in the area don’t bother. :(

All of my experiences in the library have been positive and full of learning! Unless you go at the end of the week, the math lab is fairly accessible and very quiet! Any complaints about other people being loud in the library are understandable but it doesn't change that it's a fantastic learning environment!

It js open to the public and they have public use computers on the second floor by circulation
The rooms are available on the weekends, both Saturday and Sunday, but at least one of your group would need to be LSU affiliated to reserve the room. The tables in room 53 don't require a reservation, and they might be a good place for your group. Be sure to check our hours on our website before visiting- summertime hours are shorter than during the school year.
