Well I am new to this Housing Authority thing.. plus I am new to moving to Waterbury.. reading the reviews don’t sound good.. I hope they changed because I am a Black Woman and I demand to be treated with respect.. I am willing take this matter higher if I am treated with disrespect.. hopefully they change… thanks

If I coukd give this place less than 1 star I would. My mom has been dealing with this place for years and every encounter has been bad. Im not really sure why the government pays these wprkers when they QUITE LITERALLY do not do their jobs. My mother has even had landlords complain about the inept workers here. My mother has also been complaining about racial bias here for years and ive never paid mind to it (shes white) but more recently I have seen it. Before covid actually, I witnessed Hispanics being treated far better than any black or white person in the office that day. The secretary (not sure of her name) told me they dont accept emails, which, makes absolutely nonsense. This whole place needs a staff rehaul its just weird to me that the staff is majority hispanic and I see hispanics get treated better there as a whole. Theres definitley a racial bias going on here.

I got "kicked off my housing" for supposedly not living there but I have signed letters after the date they told me. You can google it and I believe there is a higher up number to call!
Each city in each state the voucher price changes... You need to contact the city your planning to move to and ask them for the price...always...
