We couldn't be happier! I called Firebird Sweep and Donna immediately scheduled an appointment with me to meet and discuss options. Upon meeting with her, I was able to choose the correct fireplace that suited our needs, so she arranged an appointment for us with Dan to discuss installation. After meeting with Dan, we knew we were ready to set a date to install. Within 2 weeks Dan and his staff came, cleaned chimney and completed the job. They were professional, tidy and helpful to answer our questions. I highly recommend Firebird Sweep to anyone that is in need of any Fireplace upgrades, repairs or cleaning.

We used the company for years until we called for our annual cleaning and left a message on their answering machine and we never recieved a call back. A month later we called to make an appointment and were told they are busy???? So busy you can't call back your customers to make an appointment?? They gave us an appointment for a few days later and told us the price was now $250 for a chimmney cleaning which was $169 for years. Its a shame what's going on that everyone is making excuses to jack up the prices on consumers and their blaming covid ???? We cancelled our appointment a day later and found another company to do the same job and they are coming for $99 . All these years we were being over charged . Never again.

Unfortunately, Donna showed this exact same behavior while on the phone with my wife earlier this afternoon - losing her temper, getting defensive that we had not left multiple messages, denying that I could have shown up at the store a few days ago and spoke directly with Dan, then finally hanging up with a promise that Firebird will not service our fireplace ever again. We now have a defective gas unit and damper - both of which had been installed and repaired by Firebird over multiple visits since 2018. They still have the chance to read this feedback and then do the right thing to repair our unit and their reputation. EDIT - this review is due to the unhinged behavior of Donna on Saturday, when she finally returned our numerous prior calls for service. She ended the call by promising nobody would ever come back to service our unit again and hung up immediately. So, rather than address her berating a repeat customer on the phone, you blame the customer for the problems with the unit you installed. That speaks volumes about your commitment to service.

after a service call I was promised a follow up call concerning issues with my fireplace, which never came. we went to the store where I was told they had no recollection of having to call me for anything. they could not locate the paper work from the in home service I received, and that they had no knowledge of the voice mail I left them. they got totally defensive when I said they were unorganized, and Donna berated me for being nasty and disrespectful.. I was insistent, but always polite. we were promised a return visit to inspect my fireplace again, but not assigned a specific date & time. 2 weeks later I have still not heard back from them. just a bad experience all around. We sure do, with our viper system and vac cleaning system. Caps are an important defense against birds, squirrels, rain and snow. An ounce of safety is worth a pound of cure, so don't delay as bookings are going fast. Thanks for contacting us.
