Hands down one of the most compassionate and caring facilities I have been to. The staff truly cares about each and every resident and making them feel as comfortable as possible while building bonds and relationships with each individual. There is really a family type vibe and just such a warm and loving atmosphere within this facility. I would highly recommend Cascades to anyone looking for an assisted living facility or memory care facility for a family member or loved one.

My Dad has lived at Cascades of Grass Valley for four years, first in Independent Living and now Memory Care. His needs have changed quite a bit over time. Last year I was happy to learn that Wellness Director, Pepsi Pittman had taken over as executive director. This was an excellent choice and natural fit. I believe her medical knowledge of age-associated cognitive decline helps to ensure the highest standard of senior care. Her staff are loving, patient and attentive. Cascades has a homey and welcoming atmosphere and I always look forward to visiting. Most importantly is peace of mind in knowing my Dad is well looked after the times I can’t be with him.
