Not sure...I just got a necklace.
They use a gun, but it seemed like a newer/better version than the guns I remember getting pierced with as a child. My 7yr old just got her ears pierced there and the experience was great! The prices were reasonable, they answered all of my many questions lol, and once it was done my daughter said she barely felt a thing! I thought about going to a tattoo shop and having it done with piercing needles, but now that it's all said and done, I can truly say I am so glad I trusted my gut and went with the ladies at Piercing Pagoda in Gastonia 👌😁
They use a small ear gun. I'm sure they have to insert some sort of disposable needle.
