I would rate this place 5 stars cause the employee that helped me fill a few propane tanks was very friendly but after filling the tanks the guy called the desk and told told them to charge me for two 20 lb tanks and a 30. I only have two 15 lb tanks and a 30. Another problem was one tank was at least 2/3 full maybe more cause I have a gauge that tells me. So I was charged full price for filling a tank that they only filled probably 1/3 of the way. I figured they did like every place and charged per gallon not per tank size. Not only did I get over charged for the mostly full tank I was also overcharged for the other 15 lb tank. I'll definately find another place to go that'll be more honest and straight forward. Thats how I am and how I feel everyone should be. Thanks.

I would not recommend pursuing a career at BlueRidge Electric. As a summer accounting/finance intern there I had a reasonable work load along with a project that was assigned to me from my manager. My manager consistently followed up with me to let me know how great of a job I was doing. Often times I would complete my tasks and go ask manager for more task, that way I was being productive and gaining the most from this experience. Whenever I brought up more work to my manager the response would always be that she would get back to me and to continue “scanning documents”, which for an intern is busy work. Just when I thought that I was doing well in my internship (per conversations with my manager), I was approached in my office and let go due to “too much time on my phone”. Not once was I given a warning about being on my phone or told that I was not meeting my daily internship requirements. Comments were then being made such as “I’m not being productive” or “I’m not putting my best effort into my work”. I am a double major majoring in Accounting and Finance, but being told that I'm not putting in enough effort running a scanner? I was let go for something that could’ve been prevented through a warning like most companies give you, if my phone was truly an issue. I do personally feel like if it were anyone else in the company they would have received a warning. I’m not saying it’s due to the color of my skin, but it’s definitely something more internal. There was only a week left until my internship ended, but needless to say BlueRidge did not wait a week. For the next person seeking a job within this corporation I would be concerned with the job security and the lack of honesty from leadership/management.

The service i get is great and everyone is so friendly! I like that they give you a call after service has been restored from a storm. I have a pre pay account and they will call to let me know my balance...that helps alot.
