This nursing home has been so helpful to me while I’ve tried to navigate this journey with my mom. She has been there for several weeks and I have met some really great nurses who have taken care of her. It seems as if these people actually care about the patients. I would recommend this facility to others.

Not sure how this place is still open for business. Don't let your loved one live here.

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. My mom was placed in FO for rehab. She got no rehab, and was left alone in her bed. I drove from out of state to see her and was appalled when I found her in the fetal position alone in a room where there was blood on the wall next to her bed and on the floor. There were face masks on the floor beside her bed, along with other medical trash, and the area around the toilet was disgusting. No cleaning was being done, much less increased cleaning because of COVID. She was dehydrated because no one was helping her eat or drink. The clothes she went in with were gone, and clothes that weren't hers were in their place. Her shirt hadn't been washed, as there was blood all over the sleeve. It had been thrown in the floor of her closet. The staff were not in any hurry to help when asked, even when there were 6 people at the desk. I have photos and, if given the option, I will post them. DO NOT place the care of your loved one in this nursing home. Had we not gotten to her and insisted on her being moved out immediately, she would have died, without question.

if i didn’t have to put 1 start i wouldn’t, worst nursing home i’ve ever seen in my life. they killed my grandma, wouldn’t let her come home when she wanted too. they told her if she left she wouldn’t get any at home care for her needs. was told even the works said they wouldn’t put there dogs in there. but you know what, they will have to answer to the Lord for killing my grandma. she’s in a better place now.

There are many decisions that go into the process of choosing a nursing home for yourself or someone you care for. It is normal for the family and the resident to experience some degree of anxiety about the move. A life change as important as moving into a nursing home should be handled with care and should be made as comfortable as possible. Residents and family members can make the transition easiest by remaining informed and by proactively seeking a caring environment where the resident will feel most at home. During the transition, frustrations may occur while your loved one is becoming accustomed to the new surroundings.

Hospitals are designed for patients who have serious medical problems that can be treated only in a hospital. Insurance companies may review and stop insurance benefits when you no longer need acute hospital care. A nursing center can provide the continuing medical care and rehabilitation services you need to help you recover from illness or injury so that you can return home as soon as possible.

The social worker at the hospital or nursing center will assist you in determining the appropriate payer source (which may include Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance). If you need Medicaid to cover the cost of nursing home care, you will be referred to a Medicaid worker to help you with the Medicaid application process.
