GREAT tranquil rustic spot for a GREAT deal. I travel through the area often and have found this gem. Clean rooms. Simple check in. Clean bathroom & Towels mini fridge etc. What a concept ! If only all places kept to this script. The location is very remote in general and that’s the appeal. Star gazing the best I’ve seen ever. WELL Worth staying here Vs Weaverville for 1/2 the room quality for 2x the price. I’ll happily stay here any day. So far stayed here 3 separate nights this week because I had to return. See y’all soon. And remember when checking in there’s a happy kind barking dog who loves pets and smelling you.

While on fire assignment I booked a room for two weeks at the Timberjack lodge. What I need most is a comfortable bed, a quiet evening and a shower with hot water. It is surprising how many hotels don't provide this even at costs much higher than the Timberjack lodge. The manager (Jim) is hospitable, accommodating and just a very pleasant fellow however be careful of his hounds since they are inclined to demand to be pet during the check in process!

Newly remodeled, clean. The grounds gave that western country feel with trees to sit under, a family barbque area. Its quiet even full. Chairs outside of your door. Beautiful views. Resonable rates. Owner doesn't put up with major partying. Comfortable bed, foam.👌
