I'm sure this organization helps plenty of women; however, if you are in an emergency situation, this is NOT the place to go. They require you set up an appointment, even though, they have NO appointment available and the only way they will even consider assisting you is if you meet with a case worker and go through a year long program, which is fine, but not when you are in a situation where your utilities are due to be shut off in 2 days. So, if you require IMMEDIATE help, avoid this place!

I am a single, college educated, black man who lives in cumberland county. I applied for services with your organization and was told you only help women and children. I am professional and understand the scope of your orgaization. Stop discrimination against black men.

Looking for something to help me and my 4 children fleeing from a abusive relations in Pennsylvania. A lot of place I called in other states won’t help you if you don’t have an address in the city/state. Is that the same case for here?
