Went to them early January for a claim did everything they asked they mailed my psych letter to the VA told me to wait until the VA responded to them it’s now The END of august so I called the VA personally and they have had the letter for months but no claim was made. VSO told me to wait since January they said they will call me when they heard something…… never once did they call to check up nothing. worst service to veterans I’ve ever had to deal with…

Person I talked to when I could was wanting to get off the phone immediately telling me I need to call back on a Wednesday to schedule an appointment. I just wanted some info before scheduling anything. He just did the “again, call back Wednesday to schedule and we can talk from there” attitude.

The Bureau only accepts medical equipment, i.e.,canes, walkers and wheel chairs. Try the Salvation Army, Operation Green Drop (the Military Order of the Purple Heart or Vietnam Veterans of America.
The VA CLINIC is located off Rt.70 in Brick. OCVS is a place for compensation cases,etc.
If phoning doesn't work, just do walk-in.
Through Ocean Ride, OCVB can provide transportation to East Orange, Philadelphia, Lyons and Marlton VA facilities on SPECIFIED days and times during the week. Call the Office for details, and to register for transportation services. If you are going to the Brick Clinic, call Ocean Ride, directly.
