Our two grandkids, 14 and 16 just loved the pool under the waterfall. Water temp was pleasant. Spent several hours without getting bored or missing their media.

Gorgeous wildlife sanctuary with some nice views and waterfalls. A lot of people have issues with parking but there are two locations to pull off the road and park. The steep curve on Sheits Road right by the highway has a decent size pull …

Natural. Totally undeveloped. No sign of human life. Just what we like. The grandkids loved playing in the clear creek. (No parking)

Questions & Answers

Does this park really exist? Seri tells me to park on 275 and walk. Where is the entrance? Someone else had this same problem. I think someone made up this park to drive people crazy trying to get there. 😝

I wouldn't call it a park. It does have a simg on Sheits road. Its a wildlife sanctuary so no pavement just wild nature. We walked around a very small part of it some years ago amd its just like any other untouched ground. Its on a steep hillside too so unless you're into very rugged grounds, it might be good to skip for now.

Does anyone know if they have bike trails at the wildlife sanctuary

There are no marked hiking or biking trails here.

Do you have rescued racoons?

Any wildlife here is free range and not caged or in a specially designated habitat.

Are there hiking trails

Yes there is a small one, but you have to cross the creek to get to it.
