What a great first experience. We weren’t sure what we we looking for, but Tania listened and offered suggestions as well as samples. She didn’t dismiss our ignorance and cares about her customers. Make this your to-go place if you live in or are passing through Danville.

Does CBD show up on drug tests?

Hemp Wellness Boutique | Sep 27, 2020
Hemp Wellness Boutique | Sep 27, 2020

Most drug tests only measure levels of THC and many CBD products have trace levels of THC. Full-spectrum CBD oils derived from hemp can test up to 0.3% THC. That’s not enough to get you high, and you’d likely have to ingest a lot of CBD oil to fail a drug test for THC. But it’s worth knowing that the risk is technically there. Some drug tests include a full panel of testing for cannabinoids (meaning the test does not separate the different types of cannabinoids) and the results may come back positive. If this happens to you, simply request a lab report that separates out the THC from the other cannabinoids.

What is the difference between CBD Oil and Hemp Oil?

Hemp Wellness Boutique | Sep 27, 2020
Hemp Wellness Boutique | Sep 27, 2020

Hemp Oil is extracted from dehulled hemp seeds and does not contain cannabidiol (CBD). CBD Oil is extracted from the whole mature hemp plant, including stalks, leaves and flowers and contains cannabidiol (CBD). When you harvest oil from the entire plant, you get every potential beneficial compound the plant has to offer including not just CBD, but dozens of other cannabinoids and scent compounds called terpenes. The "Entourage effect" is the belief that the different compounds of the cannabis plant work better when they are used together compared to being used individually. The terpenes help the cannabinoids achieve their best effects. Hemp Seed Oil is high in Omega-6 and 3 fatty acids. Neither CBD oil nor Hemp Seed Oil with get you high.

CBD Tinctures are liquid solutions that are designed to host the benefits of CBD Oil combined with additional elements. The difference between CBD Oil and CBD Tinctures are ingredients like carrier oils or terpenes that may be added to the tinctures to maximize their potency. Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring compound found in the resinous flower of cannabis, a plant with a rich history as a medicine going back thousands of years. Today the therapeutic properties of CBD are being tested and confirmed by scientists and doctors around the world. A safe, non-addictive substance, CBD is one of more than a hundred “phytocannabinoids,” which are unique to cannabis and endow the plant with its robust therapeutic profile.
