Great diversity of places to eat and drink. Better in the warmer months where you can grab a drink outside. Usually kept really clean, although lately there have bee. A lot of homeless in the area where they may need to up the security

On the street, if you can find it. It's free after 6pm and on the weekends and like $1/hr. (with a 2hr. max.) during the weekday. Otherwise, it'll have to be at one of the parking decks -- I believe the closest one is "The Green," on N. Tryon between 1st and Stonewall streets -- that charge. It's usually a lot cheaper to park after 6 and on the weekends in the decks as well, but worse-case scenario, you know you have that option.
