My husband and I reached out to MLKD to redesign our kitchen and were connected with Chris R. We knew it was a huge project, one we wanted to do once and do it right, and that we needed help. We couldn’t be more happy with the end result. Our kitchen was aesthetically dated with a poor layout that wasn’t working for us at all. Chris came out to our home to get measurements and then we had a couple zoom calls where we discussed design ideas. It was very collaborative but with him guiding us as the expert. For example, I was very interested in an island but unsure if it would work. He kindly made it clear it wasn’t go to work for our space and presented us with alternatives. In hindsight, if we tried any sort of island we would’ve been sorry and he saved us from that. He also helped us move a door which changed the entire kitchen. My husband did the math — with the design Chris came up with we went from having approx 90” of countertop space to 195”; base cabinets went from 51” to 170”; and upper cabinets went from 81” to 174”. Plus, we went from zero pantry space to two 24” floor to ceiling pantries. We were also able to include a full size fridge, a 36” range with a 42” range hood. He really did an excellent job of helping us optimize our space and guided us through the early stages of the renovation process. Chris also connected us with a contractor local to us. He never upsold us and was transparent about all the materials and add-ons. He was professional and responsive through the entire process. We also worked with Camilla and Juliet in the process who were also very helpful and communicative. I would absolutely recommend MLKD to anyone looking for design services. I am so glad we connected with them and now have a dream kitchen.

After 30+ years the kitchen really needed updating. I had heard good things about Main Line Kitchen Design and was sure I'd get a nice new kitchen. I ended up getting much more. Paul's innovative and elegant design transformed the house. From early meetings to cabinet choice to Mark the Delivery man's efficiency the entire process was easy. The recommended contractor Walt was excellent and it was a pleasure having him and his crew around the house. I also had an especially good experience with Rob at AAA Hellenic who supplied the granite counter top. Even with an inexcusable delay caused by a third party materials supplier I couldn't be happier with the entire experience.

We are more than pleased with the results! Great contractors are hard to find but this is a needle in a haystack. Our kitchen is amazing and they are great in all areas, Price, Quality, Communication, and more! Highly recommended.

We worked with Paul at Main Line Kitchen Design and after several iterations to refine the design (and us changing our minds on a few things), we made the decision to proceed with our kitchen remodel. We purchased the cabinets from Main Line and used a contractor recommended by Paul and we are extremely pleased with both. Our new new kitchen exceeds all expectations. Thank you Paul and the whole team at Main Line Kitchen Design.

Unfortunately, since we travel to our customers and our pricing is less, we limit our projects to entire kitchens. Any size or budget for a kitchen is fine but we do not work on bathrooms or partial kitchen remodeling projects.
Nothing. Our design time is incorporated into the cost of your kitchen cabinetry. It costs money not having a professional kitchen designer helping decide what aspects of your kitchen you can save on, and referring you to knowledgeable appliance, flooring, lighting, and countertop specialists. And at Main Line Kitchen Design we refer our customers to contractors, and suppliers all free of charge and insist they charge our customers our cost. We only make money on the purchase of your cabinetry. Because we have far less overhead than a traditional showroom we are slightly less expensive for our more affordable cabinet lines and up to 30% less for the custom lines we carry. All the cabinetry we design in and sell is all wood construction with solid wood dovetail full extension buffered drawers, and buffered doors.
The kitchen design process takes as long as a customer needs. Most customers schedule several appointments over a two-month period or longer to gradually make all of the decisions (layout, cabinet door styles, finish, cabinet accessories, appliances, contractor, etc) so as to have the exact kitchen they want. Once ordered, materials usually require a few weeks for delivery.
We carry Jim Bishop, Brighton, Fabuwood, CNC, Legacy Presidential Timberlake and Wellsford Fine Custom Cabinetry. Links to the web sites of five of our eight kitchen cabinet lines can be found at the bottom of all our web pages. Just click on each company’s logo to reach their web site.
Thanks, Being honest with people is sometimes not appreciated. For example telling someone that you don't like the design they came up with is often not taken well. However people that can compromise and let us help them make better choices are always the best customers. Being willing to collaborate gets a better kitchen and usually saves money as well.
No Main Line Kitchen Design works by appointment only. Please call first and we can explain our design process and answer questions about kitchen renovations and why our unique business model offers the best designs and the best pricing. It's why we get the best reviews on line!
