The staff is extremely rude and the items are all overpriced. I was harassed by one of the staff members here and at one point I had to beg the guy to leave me alone so I can finish shopping. I ended up not being able to purchase what I needed because it was unavailable and I was screamed at by one of the employees because he did not hear me ask him to please move so I can get around the aisle and I accidentally bumped into him while moving past him. I don't care if he was having a bad day, you do not treat your customers like that.

Great neighborhood place with a surprisingly large stock and good advice. They have an attached housewares section too. Every DIY job needs three trips to the store, and this one is close and fast.

Nice hardware store in the East Village where they have most things, but no cigars. Reason was looking for brackets to reinforce the stability of a floating desk, but they did not have the right one in stock. This is not the first time that Brickmans did not have enough materials for a certain projects ý.
