The most caring, patient, educational, and trustworthy people I know. They made sure I was prepared before, during, and after our rescue cats spay surgery. If you want a group of people that you can trust - bring your loved ones to Father Johns!

You won't find a better run shelter business. Great and caring staff, they take wonderful care of their animals. Tons of adoptions every week, and you can see why! Highly recommend!

We haven't been here in almost 15 years, when it was under previous ownership, but I just wanted to thank the House for providing us with Cody (he was "Xavier" at the shelter if I recall right). Cody passed this morning after 14.5 beautiful years with us. We're so lucky to have found him.

If you give the shelter a call they can take your info and be put on a waiting list. That way they can have a spot ready if you can't find him a home.
Hi Mary, thank you so much for thinking of us and the animals we care for. We could certainly use beds and toys. However, clothing for the dogs we are all set with currently. Please let us know if we can help in any way. Thank you!

Hello Jocelyn, Thank you for inquiring about low cost spay and neuters! We have partnered with another organization named The Animal Rights Alliance (T.A.R.A.) based out of Middletown, NY that provides our community with low cost spay and neuters. Our role in this partnership is to provide scheduling assistance to members of our community and allow our parking lot to be used as a meet up spot for the T.A.R.A. shuttle to bring your animals to their facility. If you would like more information on their organization, visit the link on our website here: https://www.fatherjohns.org/services/spayNeuterClinic.php If you are interested in getting on the schedule for the next available appointment date then feel free to call and speak with one of our staff that can assist you over the phone. We are open for business from 12-4pm daily and look forward to assisting you with your needs!
