Been coming to place for a while and it's going down hill pond levels are really low as of today 8/3/22 all your going to catch is small fish nothing exciting. Fished for cat fish on the bottom for hours with hot dogs worms and chicken gizzard and nothing. I honestly think it isn't stocked as they say. It's great for kids hands down they will catch something and for the adults don't let your hopes up lol. Anyone can post picture of people catching fish the question is how old was it is lol. Going on charter boat to fish is way better and you always catch something big. Something to think about

This place is a good fishing spot for beginners and folks who want to just spent a good afternoon. You don't need a license, you can rent the equipment, buy the bait and is super affordable, $10/person for fishing baits cost around $4 Staff is super helpful, they will guide you with tips and tricks. The reserve has many good shaded spots and you can spend good 4 ton5 hours. If you release the fish there is no cost but if you take home, you have to pay for it.
