Our son lives in Florida, and was told that his 17 year old female dog had cancer and needed to be put down. He wanted to bring her to Walterboro to see Dr. Hughes and then have her euthanized and buried in our yard. Dr. Hughes agreed. We set up the process. On the appointed day, she came out to the car, explained everything that was going to happen, and with such compassion and sympathy, she gave the dog the shots while my son held his beloved pet. Dr. Hughes comforted my son and reaffirmed that he had made the right decision, explaining what would have occurred had the dog continued to live much longer. The entire clinic was wonderful, loving, and respectful. This is the second time our family has lost a much loved pet that had to be euthanized, and I can't say enough about how impressive Morrisons Veterinary Clinic has been both times and throughout all the years of treating our fur babies.

My wife was on 64 and saw a badly injured kitten in the road. She stopped and wrapped it in a shirt and went back to Morrisons. They refused to even see it. It needed to be put down because of the severity of its injuries, but they would not do anything. She ended up taking it to the shelter and they put it down.
