Great layout of events in chronological order. Learned the other battles and engagements that 3ID was involved in, besides the WWI battles. It's not to the standards of the National Infantry Museum, but it still holds awesome history. It's pretty cool how there are artifacts of actual Medal of Honor recipients displayed; along with Sadaam Hussain's personal weapons. Overall great job!!

Got there to late to go inside but still had a great time taking pictures outside with the helicopter, tank, and truck. Only wished there were plaques telling just what, when and how these vehicles were used. Will go again to see inside.

A lot of history and info packed into this museum. Very well organized. Worth a visit.

John Potter or myself Scott Daubert. I'm sorry for the late reply I'm just now seeing your question.
There is a pass and ID center by the main gate. Yes the museum is on the installation.
It would be great to be open every day, however the museum has only one employee right now, and he cannot work seven days a week. The museum IS open the first Saturday of every month, from 10-4. You should definitely go in for a visit!
They do not follow the posted hours... We went there three times during the postef hours and they were never open... Good luck...
Sorry for your loss.
Not sure, the museum is closed for the holidays we will reopen Jan 2, 2018
