Lots of crabs...went fishing for fish but the crabs kept trying to take the bait...so I caught crabs instead

No swimming there. We saw several alligators. I do not know of anywhere near there that's good for swimming.

Both! Fresh and black water. The black water gets saltier the closer you get to Charleston. Stay away from the submarines.

I've heard about the big bluegills that are in bushy park. What time of the year do they bite the best and how far you have to go out in a boat to find the hot spots?

No, it's not even a park, it's just a boat landing.

I have a 22ft CC. Likely around 4 ft to the tallest point while in the water. If I put in on the freshwater side do you think I could get beneath the low bridge I’ve seen discussed on here? Thanks.

You might make it under. If not, put in at Cypress Garden just on the other side of the bridges.

This is the Cooper River on the salt water side ( East ) and fresh water on the West side.
