I ride at least once a month from the Hamlet station and it’s always peaceful, not a lot of people, and is always clean. You barely see anyone out there that works with Amtrak until the train is about to pull up. But I love this little country station. It’s so much better than Penn Station in NY lol

There is a museum. There are art exhibits and food trucks. Nice spacious searing areas. Angie have me a brief synopsis in the museum that I appreciated. There was an attendant that was so helpful and attentive in giving information, as we were all slightly anxious due to a more than 7 hour delay.Thefe was beautiful red caboose not in use but visible for adoration by kids and adults alike
