I have shopped at Kohl's for the past 25 years plus and have always been pleased with the customer service. I was not pleased at all yesterday when I tried to have links removed in a watch that was bought at the West Ashley store 3 days earlier. The watch was purchased as a gift for my wife on 8/24/22, knowing that it was going to be to big, I checked with the associate in the jewelry dept. about the process for having links removed. I was told by her that they would adjust the size when brought back and she even checked with the manager Trina. That being said when we tried to bring the watch in 3 days later on 8/27/22, we were told that it is company policy not to remove links. Even called Trina over and she told us the same thing, that she miss spoke 3 days earlier. How can 2 employees get it wrong? So I guess if you buy a watch at Kohl's you are expected to spend additional money to pay someone to size it for you. Not everyone has the tools at home to do it themselves. I returned the watch and went to JCPenney's where they sized the watch that I bought from them. Very disappointed in Kohl's this time.
