Summer fun!

What a great place to bring the kids and family for some local water fun. I recommend the annual pass if you live locally as it will save you money in the long run.

Great park. Very professional life guards and well maintained. A bit overpriced, $17 a person even for our 3 year old. $75 a person for a season pass, so it’s smarter to get that earlier in the summer to make it more affordable. Getting through base security SUCKED. Absolutely the worst form of government customer service; guy just didn’t want to deal with you at all. He wasn’t rude; just seemed to be praying for the end of his shift. Overall, it was a good time so I recommend it.

Great for wading and lots of covered areas with pool chairs to get out of the sun for a bit. Lots of lifeguards that were on point! Water slides were fun but mostly for kids. Down side is deepest part of the pool is about 5 ft.

Yes it is, though you have to stop at a bldg right inside the gates (guard shack) and everyone has to go in and all adults must have id's to have a background check done before you can go into the water park.
$13 for military dependents and $15 for non military
You can go in and out of the water park. You'll just need to ask a ticket seller for a wristband. It is not necessary to bring your own lock, but they are available to rent. There are showers and dressing areas. The snack bar has ice cream, soft drinks, chips, soft pretzels, all beef hot dogs and hamburgers, fries, nachos, pizza, and a few other items. Prices are reasonable for the quality and range from $1 to a hamburger currently being around $5 or so. Here is Ft. Jackson's Water Park website: https://jackson.armymwr.com/programs/palmetto-falls-water-park It has more info.
Yes, they do have season passes. When it gets closer to opening, please visit Victory Travel for information on military passes.
Yes it is. Make sure when you go to fort Jackson you have your driver's license. (The updated kind with the 🌟)
This park is open to military and non-military families. The admission (per person) is $8 for military, $11 for guests of military personnel, and $13 for civilian. Children under 2 years of age get in free.
It's open to the public but you have to get a screening done at any of the entrances that you go into Fort Jackson through. It usually takes about 10 to 20 minutes depending on how many people are there but not much longer. Be prepared to pay for your water park tickets there at the booth just for proof of authenticity of the destination you claim to be going to. Also just saying I'm a long-time fan of this Waterpark but the last time I visited a month ago it was an atrocious conditions. I don't know what you can do about that, but heads up.
They don't allow outside food, so you can have it at the nearby park and then you go in to swim (or the other way around). Definitely contact the office for more information.
No, but you must have proper id card to enter the base.
It is, but your driver's license, tags, and registration must all be up to date or they won't let you on base. You can purchace seasonal tickets online. You will need a copy of everyone's birth certificate, driver's license, and a mailing from a utility bill / invoice with your home address on it; no PO Box addresses.
Yes it is open to the general public.
$15 11am-5
I guess it depend on what it is your trying to do. Right now everything is closed. But you can go up to the Solomon center and they will give you the prices for everything they are offering.
It closed in the middle of august for the year
$8 per person for Military affiliated Family Members but they are closed for the season I believe also
The lazy river is 3 1/2 feet give or take a few inches for rainfall
No. Only adults over the age of 18.
It's been a while since I've been there. It's on the Army base, so unless you're in the military or a guest, you won't be able to get in.
It closed in August for the season. I think the season is very short June-August.
Correct they do have lockers. I would not just leave your items out deslite it being and army base
I think it's $12 / person
Yes, they accept Visa, or Mastercards
Yes, stop by the visitors center when coming on-post. You can tell the you are going to the water park and the will assist you in the right direction.
Yes, everytime you enter a military base ID must be checked.
$7 for DOD ID holders and $10 for their guest (up to 6). $12 for civilians with ID holder escort.
If you are not in the military, you have to wait until the tickets go out to the public, if you are in the military they rates are different for children, teens and adults...
It varies per military grade civilian and size of family you'll need to call the Wellness Center and they can tell you
Too damn much!!!
No, you do not need to be military or know someone who is; however, it is required to go to the front office to submit an application and get a background check before they give you a badge to enter the base. The badge is good for one year.
