I chose to represent myself for a possession charge. St George was familiar because an ol friend (US ARMY) and I ran low voltage control wiring at a vocational facility for women. I opened my case, presented all matters involved, and asked the court to transfer me to Charleston in order to carry out a short probation sentence. Granted Dismissed Case closed

The customer service at this office is by far the absolute worse. They're very rude, unprofessional disrespectful and non compassionate to people whose lost a loved one. They make such a simple paperwork task so complicated I pray God has mercy on them.

Most of the people here are rude

Probate clerks have terrible customer service. If I ask questions to ensure your confusing forms are filled out correctly, you could at least be polite. They are no help at all. They need to take some lessons from Charleston county probate. They were awesome. They should be ashamed to be so rude when you have suffered a loss of a loved one.

No you don't, just make sure you have a mask.
You can't "get married" but you go to the probate court at the court house and submit your application. (You will need both you and your significant other to be there, both of y'all's social security cards, and y'all's drivers license and also 40$) Then they make you wait 24 hours to pick up your marriage license. Then you go to a notary to "get married". You can then either bring the signed, dated, and stamped marriage licenses back to probate court or mail it in. Done. Then you have to go to the social security office and do your social security card for name change and such.
I believe so if that's the county you filed for divorce in. I would call them.
Go to the court house and request a copy
Go in to set appointment
Contact the family court clerk in the county where the case was filed.
The courthouse is on Broughton Rd. Like you are going to Lion's Beach. It is right next door to the Berkeley County jail. The parking lot for the courthouse is always full. Hope that helps.
