This is a extremely racist institution who make it very clear that they do not care about the lives of Black people, particularly black women. They have let a person who was last seen with a currently missing family member and known abuser free to continue assaulting women. On top of al of that, they refuse to put any effort into finding this woman who has been missing for almost a month. It is disgusting and they should truly have a lawsuit against them.

They never truly help. I was worried about my child being missing out of the state. His father took him without my permission. When I went to get my son back, my ex held a gun to my head and called police saying I was kidnapping him. My son had already been kidnapped by his father and he was not going to let me take him home without killing me first. These cops showed up and in a nutshell said I had no business saying where his father took him and that I wasn't taking him home where he belonged. They ignored me when I was telling them he had a gun pointed at me shortly before they pulled up, were actually standing in the driveway with my ex making small talk and laughing, and knocked on my window asking me to leave when I was still gaining composure. I normally have all respect for LEO, but after this incident have no more trust or respect for this department.

I will briefly list my 3 dealings with the Aiken County Sheriff office: (1) In 2014 I along with my 2 children were waiting on a realtor to show us a listed home. (3:00 in the day)The officer that lived in the community passed my park car. He turned around and asked me a number of questions. I answered the questions. I asked him only one question; was I breaking any laws. He wouldn't answer. The realtor eventually showed up. The officer lied and said, I was being uncooperative. He became angry when I continued to ask what crime I had committed. I gave him my driver's license even though I was parked waiting on the realtor. Across the street, were two young men in their yards. One an Asian man, the other a white man. He wanted to know about me. He claimed he knew everyone on that block. I went online and file a complaint. That was in 2014! I still haven't heard ANYTHING from the Sheriff office it's 2022. (2) I got off work from the prison, after getting into Aiken, I was followed for about 20 minutes or so by an unknown man in a truck. I called and spoke with the dispatcher. She observed the truck following me, after telling me to come down Lauren Street, 3 officers stopped the guy on Richland Ave near waffle house. While standing outside my vehicle, in uniform, I observed the lieutenant speaking with the guy that followed me around Aiken. The two of them talked about the Carolina football team. The lieutenant told the guy; you can leave, you didn't do anything wrong. The lieutenant NEVER spoke to me. He looked at me, got in his vehicle and left. One of the officers asked the other officer, where is the lieutenant? The officer responded, he left. I was left standing by my vehicle in a Correctional Officer uniform. (3) In January 2022 I reported a fraud crime. Reported a guy, Rodney Murrell who operates a business( Air Force One)in Aiken without a license defrauded me out of money. I was constantly told to seek recourse through civil court. I asked the officer if fraud was a crime, he said, yes.The case as far as I know hasn't been turned over to an investigator. I spoke with a Sargent about a guy that was flash across the Aiken standard; Wanted for operating a business without a license also, breech of trust. The same crime Rodney Murrell is being accused of. There's a difference between the two guys; one has a dark complexion the other, not so much. I am a law abiding citizen, is justice for some people and not others?
