The motel and staff are nice, however the motel DOES NOT ACCEPT CASH, what a disappointment could not buy laundry soap with good old American currency, had to go to a store and buy it, good thing some people still accept cash! IHG you need to change this policy, that is UNAMERICAN!!

Positive: Right off I69, about 30 minutes away from Ball State/Muncie area. BP gas station, Starbucks, and Hardee's are across the parking lot. Negative: Disappointed that the pool was closed for the weekend. It was one of the draws to book here, but overall, excellent.

Balls and Strikes

I reserved a room with 2 beds suite with the fold out couch because I had 3 other people staying in the room with me. When I arrive I was given a King Suite (1 Bed) and a fold out couch. There was no way 4 grown men could stay in a room like that. The explanation I was given was there was renovations going on in the Suite rooms. That is fine but what am I supposed to do when I arrive with 4 people and do not have enough room for us. What upsets me is I was not contacted ahead of time so that I could make other arrangements. The attitude I got was this is the room you get take it or leave it. I have been an IHG Reward member for quite a few years and to me this was unacceptable.

An unplanned stop at this hotel turned out to be a good choice 👍🏾 Check-in was quick and the receptionist was nice and accommodating. The first room we got had a clogged sink. After not being able to get it unclogged right away we were moved to another room. The hotel was pretty clean, not spotless but good to go. The bed was comfy, shower was good, and our heads comfortablly sank into the pillows. It was a quiet Friday night of rest which was perfect for getting back on the road in the morning. We enjoyed the light breakfast and coffee as a good start to the day before check out!
