The drs and nurses are good if they ever see you. We basically got forgotten for OVER an hour with my father's iv unplugged and then after pushing several times he finally was seen again and I found out he might have sepsis but they have ignored him for over an hour? The nurse who was assigned to him just left and he was forgotten instead of being switched over to another nurse or in the computer. Go to Annie penn. Update on my situation had to go to Annie Penn a week later and was told that my father has all over cancer that somehow was missed at this hospital

They listened. They truly tried to help, and did. They gave a diagnosis. (3 other places couldn't figure out what was wrong) In the end we left with a plan of treatment and an idea of what we needed to do. Thank you so much to all the emergency staff! You were all awesome! We were treated like human beings and that is what all the others lacked. God bless this hospital and all that work there.

By far the worst customer care in the ER. My mom has been here since yesterday (over 24hrs) and they still haven’t given her anything to eat. Shift changed this morning at 7am it is now after 2 and no dr has been in here. Had a really rude nurse come in earlier and was no help at all and when I started asking questions she got upset and yanked the curtain slammed the door and walked out. Since then I have requested to file a formal complaint against the nurse as well as I have asked for someone from patient and medical services and I still haven’t gotten anyone. Furthermore we are still sitting in the ER on day 2. 😩

The provider may inform a patient that they will be discharged, but nothing happens until orders are placed. Sometimes the provider makes rounds and then enters all orders in the computer. There are several processes that have to be completed by staff, and it can take a couple of hours. It can be frustrating to wait, especially when a patient is eager to be home.
I'm not sure. They accept most major health insurances
Most of the hospital has resumed regular visiting hours from 7a.m. to 9 p.m., but areas such as ICU and the Birthing Center have different hours as they continue to sometimes care for COVID-19 positive patients. Please check with a nurse in those areas about recommended visiting times.
The hospital is always open. Caring for inpatients and Emergency Department patients is a 24/7 operation.
If you are seen in the Er and don't have a family Dr and if that's what the Er Dr recommend That actual procedure would be done in the Day Hospital but the Er may can give you a shot?
Should be able to call the hospital and ask for the business office.
My father was taken to UNC from the nursing facility. The emergency room doctor diagnosed him with a head injury. He wanted to make him comfortable and let him die. We requested he be sent to Baptist . He's doing much better. I guess it depends on what's wrong with you but I wouldn't recommend going for major things. Just my opinion
Because UNC bought out Morehead. Its not run by the same people anymore
