Difficult climb to start but the wildflowers were amazing! We saw a bunch of butterflies and one new-to-me species.

This is by far the most beautiful hike I’ve been to in this part of California! I personally had the best experience when coming here in August, when the wildflowers are blooming:)

Free parking in dirt lot. There are two lots, one closer. From there it's a 2.25 mile hike up.
