The vet and techs at PawMed West Ashley were amazing. Calming, attentive, patient and informative. I didn’t have an emergency but my concerns were answered, addressed and both me and my dog were treated with total care and kindness. Would have them be my primary vet if I could!

So we called and the guy said if we come they would get are dog in no time we waited two hours when I went t in to ask I spoke to a man who said there was only one vet and so this is why they were so behind .why was that poor vet the only one with so many clients this was unbelievable I felt very bad for the vet but as far as the workers there they should have been honest and said hey we only have one vet and it will be a long time to see you I was very disappointed and could not belive how they were so unhonest also every time when we ask they say yeh your dog should be next it was crazy u

Nurse Tricia and Dr. DeRespino are angels from above. They helped us send off our old black lab on a wave of love. It was the hardest thing we ever had to do, and their compassion and professionalism meant the world to us.

Questions & Answers

Do you really close at 10:00 PM 7 days per week?

Hey Paul - thanks for reaching out! We are indeed here from 10am to 10pm daily. Some nights, we may stop adding cases to our waiting list if the number of cases will likely exceed what we can see before we close. We do not generally start a new case after 9pm as most cases take about an hour to get fully worked up and treated. Always feel free to call us before you head this way to see what wait times look like and find out if we are adding cases to our list!

Similar to human urgent care, we run on a first-come, first-serve basis. We are a walk-in-only clinic but we do have forms online you can fill out before you come to make the check-in process quicker.
