From someone who knows. The table was given to the museum in the 1980s and this factory made table (circa 1890-1910) was in rough shape. An employee of Clines Antiques repaired and refinished the table. It will grow from card table size to banquet table size using the leaves that are stored in the table.
Every year the museum decorates the entrance to the museum and opens the doors for children and their families to trick or treat inside the museum. Volunteers often wear costumes greet the children as they walk through the museum and fill their bags with treats. It's safe and it's free. Watch our Facebook page for details in early October.
