In my 80’s time for a will. Looked online ,$100 great. Left me with many questions. Think i’ll talk to an attorney. Called 1,2,3 all quoted $2,000 or more.(hell most of the doc’s are boiler plate). Then I tried Starrett Law Firm. Asked me to fill out form ( what the hell figured I would need to sometime). Within 2 hours Alllen Starrett called me, (he made me fill like he knew me). His price was less than half cost of others.. Sent me draft, couple of changes, set appointment done. After a while, (time and conditions change), called Allen. He made changes sent me draft, minimal cost set appt. done. Sat down with Executor went over details and timelines. THEN discovered all about PROBATE COURT. WOW (takes over a year to complete, quarterly reports ect and they want .40. Per hundred of estate fee). My estate is strait forward. Called Allen, let’s talk about Trust to bypass Probate. We reviewed all cost (only a few hundred more to set up Trust). End result ( less time and effort for Executor, close out estate in a few months). Allen produced documents in few days, set appt. done. Starrett Law Firm was professional, efficient at a reasonable price. I highly recommend them.

Allen and his team at Starrett were amazing. They made the process of updating our will so easy and stress less. It's never a fun discussion to plan a will, but they were very accommodating and had great suggestions to get everything in place. Definitely recommend them if you need to start it update your will.

Hi Padma. Thanks for the question. You have to check with your bank to see if they will allow you to name a beneficiary on your account. If so, then you should check with that organization to determine any special language they require for you to identify them properly as beneficiary. You'll then work with the bank directly to ensure that the proper designation is made. If not, then yes, your will can control where the account goes. Good luck!
