My vehicle was hit on my front passenger side and I was unable to drive it. Hamden Auto Body did an amazing job. You can’t tell that my vehicle was in accident. It took longer than expected but no fault of Hamden Auto Body, the dealership had a back order on the parts. Trust you won’t be disappointed!!

This should not be 5 stars.....it should be 6. I barely ever write reviews but have to rave about this business and the employees. They worked fast, kept me posted and updated me every step of the way (including the times the insurance adjuster was down to look at the car). My car looks brand new! Super professional and personable people. This is now my go to body shop for my cars (but hopefully I won't need them anytime soon lol). Thank you again Hamden Auto Body!

Having used them before and was happy with the results I reach out again when I needed body work done. Unfortunately they must have hired a new receptionist from the local housing projects. She was the most rude and arrogant person I've dealt with in customer service. Needless to say I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I don't need to entertain that!

Quality work, reasonable pricing. Staff professional, from greeting upon entrance, follow up calls, paperwork, also TEAMWORK was demonstrated from front to back. Would DEFINITELY recommend to others. Visiting from out of state, knocked off my outside mirror and needed a timely repair—Hamden Auto Body put me back on the road (driver sideview mirror)! SAFELY !! Oren, you guys are A+ !

Questions & Answers

How can I get a rental car?

Hamden Auto Body | Sep 26, 2021

Most insurance policies include rental. If yours does not, we have discounted rates that we can pass along to you. If you are a claimant, by law, you are entitled to a rental. At Hamden Auto Body, we have on-site rentals with Enterprise Rent-A-Car; and we will coordinate the whole process.

Do I have to go to the drive-in claims center?

Hamden Auto Body | Sep 26, 2021

Some insurance companies may want you to visit their drive-in claims center before having your car repaired. You do not need to do this. You may leave your car at our facility and we will have the insurance company inspect the car at our location. Hamden Auto Body works with all of the major insurance companies and we keep close communication with you and your insurance company to advise of all work and repairs that need to be done to your vehicle.

Why are some estimates different?

Hamden Auto Body | Sep 26, 2021

Differences in repair estimates are common. A lower estimate may not include all necessary work. If you’re not sure why one estimate is different from another you’ve received, just ask one of our friendly staff members.

What should I look for when choosing a repair facility?

Choose a repair center that has the proper repair equipment and certified technicians (i.e. ASE or I-CAR). Hamden Auto Body is an ASE Blue Seal and I-Car Gold Class collision repair facility and all of our technicians have continuing I-CAR and ASE training to ensure that they are trained in the latest repair process and equipment.

Do I have a say in where vehicle gets repaired, even if my insurance company suggests that I use their preferred location?

Yes, according to Connecticut state law you have the right to have your vehicle repaired at the licensed repair shop of your choice. Your insurance company cannot require you to go to a particular shop.
