I was an out of state shopper. When I travel I like to see how shops are in other areas of the country especially since I reside in NY. When I first walked in the employees were handling other customers. This is fine, I like to wander about without an agenda. I found some items I could use for hunting and went to cash out. The young lady had asked if I needed anything else. Originally, I said no, then glanced and noticed some ammo. Being an indoors range I figured they only had plinking stuff. However, when I glanced I noticed hunting ammo which I desperately needed. I apologized when I changed my mind and asked for certain caliber and several weights. They had the variety, now let me clear this up. If you didn't notice earlier I'm from NY. So, variety means more than one weight and or manufacturer. I had a choice from 3 boxes, 3 weights and two manufacturers. Then a young man stepped forward and we broke down what I am shooting and almost out of, to what to move onto next. I chose the same weight to keep it simple. I took two boxes, without hesitation they passed them right over. Again NY, when places here get low on stock the shops sometimes get goofy over volume purchases. That's so everyone can have some. It's not spoken, but it's in the looks you get. Anyway, if I ever get back in their area I will definitely swing in and look again! Friendly, clean and selection.

Nice, clean, and modern range. Way better than shooting outside in the freezing rain. Each lane is equipped with a remote target trolley that moves the target to your desired distance. There is also a convenient shelf in front of the shooter for mags, ammo, whatever. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. The retail area looked nice, but I didn't really check that out since I wasn't there looking for new products. The waiver requires some personal information, but I think that's pretty much industry standard now. All and all, we had a great day and would definitely go back.

Pros - Open Range is a decent place to shoot Cons - a little pricey and some staff didn't recommend products appropriately. …We appreciate your POV on cheap guns. We would never recommend a Hi-Point except for folks who couldn’t afford anything else. Sorry for your experience.

Called last minute with my bachelor party. Jeff was awesome. Incredibly accommodating and he made sure that we not only had a great time but that we were also safe throughout the whole experience. Thank you guysYou are welcome. Bachelor parties are always a good time.

Yes but only with slugs... shot finds our lights! C - ;
Yes. They can be purchased in store or online at openrangesports.com
Bring in your ammo, if it is in the factory box and like new ... We'll pay you cash for it. This allows us to provide ammo to additional customers that are unable to find ammo. Let us know if you have any additional questions.
100 yards indoor with auto return targets (you don't have to walk). We boresight for free if you shoot with us and we can give you some tips if needed. No wind, rain or elements.
Chad, it is brass case only because we recycle the brass and the recyclers refuse it if it has steel or aluminum. We also can't be sure the bullet doesn't have steel or some other metal besides copper and lead which can damage our target systems. You probably should think about some other ammo for your nice gun as steel ammo can scratch your breech and other parts the ammo comes in contact with (magazines, extractor, ejector etc) and create accelerated wear. I realize its cheaper, but its cheaper for a reason. Best to you and hope you visit soon. PS... what are you shooting?
Half an hour is $14, hour is $23 for Pistol. Members range from free to $10 hour on Pistol. Visit Openrangesports.com for specials. Tanx!
Any or all gun stores buy guns they all like glocks, they are fast movers you should get about 65% of the guns value
And hearing protection. Although they have rentals as well. And no you can't bring "whatever you want" to shoot up - just paper targets to attach to cardboard. It's an indoor range not like Knob Creek.
