Nice And free; small area that you paddle in depending on the day there could be a current. There was a lady with her little dog in hers.

Was there for Mayor's Cup swim but recognize it as a fabulous community and community asset which is accentuated by the connection to downtown Yonkers. Alpine, NJ is also only a 3/4 mile swim away.

Amazing club with great people. The members welcome all and will help a person learn as much as they want about kayaking. During the off season in winter, they can also help you build your own kayak. Check them out, you won't regret it.

The Beczak beach (next to the club) or the JFK Marina boat ramp is open to public. You can try there. The dock at YPRC is for member use and is locked when not in use as we have responsibility for liability. Hope that helps!
