Don't let the "Budget Cabin" fool you. I stayed in the Finch cabin and it was beautiful, cozy and 1000x better than a $150-$200 regular hotel. They have everything available that you could need in the shop and in the room. HOT heat, cold a/c AND a ceiling fan. But there were 2 minor things. The shower head continuously dripped which thank god the a/c drowned the sound out. And I know these cabins are very old but I do agree that they really need new locks. There is also no deadbolt which concerned me through the night. You can also hear your neighbors pretty well so be weary. But I still give this cabin 5 stars because you can't find better for the price.

This is rustic 100 year old cabins kept original as possible. New appliance's no tv but wifi air conditioning heat running water and some have private bathrooms. It's quite and peaceful great little places to stay in. Just a few miles from Jefferson and West Jefferson. We spent a short honeymoon

I was looking for a quiet place in the middle of nowhere that was still close to my kids if they needed me and I found exactly that here. I haven't taken time for myself in 15 years and I felt long overdue for some quiet relaxation. The cabin was beautiful, right by a lovely creek and brimming with old-world charm. I had a wonderful bath in the claw foot tub and enjoyed not having a TV blaring in the background. Check-in & out was super simple. Once I figured out how to make the gas fireplace work I was in a little slice of heaven for two wonderful days. There was only one draw back. I wish there had been a little night table by the bed. I'm almost completely blind without my glasses so I can't leave them across the room when I sleep. I'd never make it back to the bed or be able to find them in the morning. Sleeping with them in the bed with me always makes me nervous no matter how much room I have not to roll over on them. But that was just one tiny thing on an otherwise perfect stay. When I get the chance for some me time again I will definitely be looking into this place again.

Courteous and friendly. My dogs, girlfriend, and I stayed one night while waiting to close on our house nearby. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. Very quiet. The spring water was great! Their farm raised bacon was amazing, too! I definitely recommend a stay.
