My wife and I are in between homes. Sold one and waiting for another to be completed. We are renting in various locations in the mean time. We spent 10 weeks at Buttonwood Bay. Great value and a wonderful place. Everyone is friendly, including the staff. It is quiet. If you want to involve yourself in activities, there are those too. The main pool at the Community Center was really good. Large and clean. We used it most days

Wonderful place to vacation in, wish they allowed under 55 to stay permanently. Large amount of birds and rabbits stay hera as well

Came about ten years ago to work and I did for about five years and retired and it was such a beautiful place I had to stay love it here and will say if you get the chance jump at it the people are awesome and the staff is very kind hearted 💯🇺🇸🇵🇷☑️💙💙💙💙❤️❤️❤️💙😎😎😎

Ask the Manager, Chris, NOT the main office which is in another state! He is honest, nice man (his wife also)! The main "Sun" office is all 'business' if you know what I mean (?). Also, someone who actually knows what's going on & how things are looking. Buttonwood is a lovely place to stay for a week or for several months! ENJOY☺
Richard is correct, but that is the lot rent. There is a HOA, I think the dues are $5 per year. This gives you a voice and a vote at the HOA meetings.

You can bring most any dog no Shepard or Rottweiler dogs like that
You should give this a try...two pools, put-put golf, walking trail, affordable, close to Sebring and Lake Placid...we are in our mid sixties and find it comfortable.
