Dr. seemed afraid of our 8lb dog. Did not do full exam but papers (bill) say they did. Attitude was horrible at front desk. The receptionist was nasty, condescending, arrogant and so much more They messed up our apt for a shot and did not care that we made time from our schedule for this apt. Again attitude was horrible. Telling us we need to come back it's our fault. They don't make mistakes. Really bad for business. New management is really not good for business. We left. The Dr. That used to be there (Dr. Amy) would have cared. These people could not care at all. If you go there ask lots of questions and make sure you get your pets full exam. Don't take their brush off attitude. They'll never see us again. PART 2 MORE DESCRIPTIVE Firstly, I would like to know who wrote the response. *******Please call me you have my/our number(s).******** While some of it is accurate, much of it is not. Visit 1- We did not observe that a full exam was done, and we were standing right there. My wife even questioned it, asking if her eyes, ears and mouth were checked. I replied the Dr. Never went near her face maybe Jen checked. Let's make this clear. Jen held her, the Dr was behind her and I was patting her head. Of course we are thrilled that our pup is healthy. That's not the point. The atmosphere of the office is. The shining light, however, is Jen. She was wonderful, as always! We were told that the follow-up visit was to be scheduled for two weeks from the first visit, which was on a Tuesday. We were even told that Dr Z wasn't in that office on Mondays. Scheduling the appointment for Monday was an entry error on the receptionist's part. We were told Tuesday, which was 2 weeks from the first visit. Neither myself nor my wife have EVER missed an appointment in our 30 year relationship with Marine Park and Mill Basin Vet Groups. Yes, mistakes happen. But, there is no excuse for the way Isaiah spoke to us- in a condescending and inappropriate manner. Inexcusable, someone need to teach this young person how to correctly speak to people. Obviously, we are not the only dissatisfied customer.

My family and I have been involved with Dr. Amy and crew since 2010 when Dr. Amy initially was at VERG on Flatbush Avenue when my grandma's cat had cancer and needed to be put down. Then, we followed Dr. Amy to the Marine Park vet that she was apart of when we had my previous cat, Spock. After that, we followed Dr. Amy here when we had to put Spock down in September. Now, we have a cat named "Effy" Ephraim who has seen both Dr. Amy and Dr. Zaccheo, and this is probably the only vet he doesn't hate - and he's been to many of them between the ASPCA when he was in foster care and now with Dr. Zaccheo and Dr. Amy as an adopted cat. It does take some bribing to get Ephraim into his carrier, though, but he doesn't cry like he used to when going to the vet. He'd cry so much when going to the ASPCA and their vets, that we didn't know what to do. Ephraim does need a nail trimming, so we'll get on that soon once I recover from surgery and can also ask about other food brands in person to transition him to since he's almost an adult cat now.
