Edited to add: it was definitely Pam who I interacted with. Joel was with her and they were taking pictures of a turkey that they plan to offer for Thanksgiving. If it were possible to leave 0/5 stars I would. My brother and very pregnant sister-in-law treated me to brunch today at Colab. We didn’t have a reservation so we were happy to sit at the bar. There were a lot of open spots but none that could fit all three of us. My brother politely asked the owner, Pam Huizenga Alexander, if she minded to sit one seat down so we could all sit together. She saw my sister-in-law who is very clearly nine months pregnant and said no. A polite and very gracious couple seated on the opposite side of us immediately offered to move down to allow us an opportunity to sit next to each other. You can teach manners but you can’t teach class.

Wonderful place to have Brunch! Everything from the Food to the atmosphere to the service was excellent! I had the gulf shrimp and grits and my other half had the smoked brisket sandwich. Large portions! Very nice outdoor area for the younger kids to play and run around. We will be coming back hungry for more💕
