The lady working the register was nice, and the guy behind the meat counter was nice too. We weren’t impressed with the meat though. We got the half freezer special, and I’m pretty sure most of the meat was bad. We didn’t notice it until we took it out of the freezer to be eaten. The pork chops were extremely thin, as were all the steaks. Wasn’t very impressed with the quality of meat. Upon reading some other reviews, I see others have had similar issues. Hopefully they’ll be able to fix these problems for future customers.

Thank you to John and Cody! We ordered pork for 100 people, 60 leg quarters (both smoked) and hamburgers and hotdogs for 60 people. Absolute perfection on the smoked meats. The hotdogs have got to be some of the best I've ever eaten. I didn't eat a hamburger, but they definitely disappeared. Thank you guys for making my Dad's 70th easier on us. We appreciate you!!

Carroll’s hit it out of the park for a huge birthday party we had with 75+ people! We picked up the pre-smoked chicken (multiple food buffs said it was the best chicken they’d ever had), precooked pork butts and ready to cook hamburgers and hotdogs (Carrolls hotdogs are the BEST all beef dogs you’ll ever get), and tays of bbq baked beans. It was fantastic and made hosting this many people a breeze. 5 stars!!!

I just came from their market and I asked that question. They told me from Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas. I then asked why not any beef from Florida and their answer makes plenty of sense that the cattle that are here are actually too skinny and don’t have as good of a taste as the ones from the Midwest.

We have antibiotic free all natural fed meat. We don't have grass fed meat. Our grades of meat are prime and choice.
We don't carry ground rabbit. We do have them whole and frozen.
Around Jacksonville you may have a hard time getting it. We don't carry it as the price point is very high. You would do better to find it online.
